Digital Marketing

Digital marketing that ends in a phone call.

We help service businesses set up targeted Google Ads campaigns, and we build dynamite landing pages designed to funnel those leads to you. Clicks are easy to buy. What counts is what happens after the click, so we plan every campaign backwards from the call.

  1. Search

Someone searches Google for exactly what you do, right when they need it.

  2. Click

The ad answers enough to make them curious. You pay for this moment.

  3. Won or lost here

    Landing page

They decide in seconds whether you're the right business.

  4. Call

A phone call, a booking or a form. The only step that pays your bills.

When a campaign disappoints, the ad is often fine. Step three is the problem: a curious visitor lands on a slow or vague page and leaves. Because we also build websites, we fix that step instead of just buying more clicks.

Why Google Ads

Why we focus on Google Ads.

We don't run social media ads or email marketing. Here's why, and what we do instead. Pick a channel to compare.

Google Ads: people are already looking.

People are actively searching Google for something. Your ad appears at the top when they search for what you do, and you only pay when they click. It's the closest thing in marketing to standing at the door as a customer walks in.

Works best when

People already search for your service, especially urgent ones like repairs or appointments, and you can answer the phone when they call.

Think twice when

You sell something new that nobody searches for yet. You can't catch a search that never happens.

Keyword researchAd copyNegative keywordsLanding pagesCall and form tracking

Negative keywords are searches you tell Google to ignore, like "free" or "jobs", so you don't pay for clicks that were never going to buy.

Social ads: built to interrupt.

Ads on Facebook and Instagram show up while people scroll. Nobody asked to see them, so they work as interruption ads. That suits products and shopping, where a good photo can spark an impulse buy. It rarely suits services.

Where they work

Products, online shops, events and offers that sell on looks and impulse.

Why we skip them

Nobody scrolls Instagram for a roofer while the ceiling is leaking. When they need you, they search Google.

Email: a small list, small returns.

Email only reaches people who are already on your list. In our experience it has a very low success rate, and a service business needs a steady flow of new customers, not just reminders to old ones.

Where it works

Shops with repeat buyers and seasonal sales, where one message can bring many orders.

Why we skip it

The highest return we've seen for service businesses comes from Google Ads and well-planned SEO.

We go deeper, with the pros and cons of each, in why we choose Google Ads and SEO over social and email marketing. And remember that ads stop when the budget stops. SEO keeps bringing in visitors after the work is done, so many owners use ads for now and SEO for later.

Our process

How we run a campaign.

Five steps, the same every time. The person who plans your campaign is the person who runs it and answers your questions.

  1. Listen

A free consultation about what you sell, who buys it, what a good customer is worth to you and what you've already tried.

  2. Plan

We agree on one goal (calls, bookings or form inquiries), a starting budget and exactly what we'll count as a result.

  3. Build

Keywords, ads, tracking and a landing page made for the campaign. Nothing goes live until tracking works.

  4. Launch and watch

The first weeks are for learning. We check closely, cut searches that waste money and move budget toward what's working.

  5. Report and refine

Every month you get a short report written for a business owner, not a marketer. Then we adjust and go again.

Reporting

What you'll see in your monthly report.

One page, written for a business owner. No screenshots of dashboards, and no big numbers without saying what they mean.

Ad spend vs management

Two separate bills, both in plain sight.

Bill one

Ad spend

The money a platform charges to show your ads, usually per click. It goes straight to Google, on their invoice.

Paid to the platform
Bill two

Management

Our fee for the planning, writing, building, tracking and reporting. It's a fixed quote, agreed after the free consultation, with no hidden fees.

Paid to us

Keeping them apart means you always see exactly what the platform charged and exactly what we charged. There's no long lock-in contract either. If the numbers stop making sense for you, you can stop. And if the pages your ads point to need work first, that's where our website design service comes in.

Questions

Digital marketing questions.

How much should I spend on ads?

There's no single right number. It depends on how competitive your area is, what a click costs in your industry and how many inquiries you can handle. After the free consultation we'll suggest a starting budget and explain how we got there.

Why don't you run social media ads or email marketing?

Because for service businesses, the best return we've seen comes from Google Ads and well-planned SEO. People on Google are actively searching for what you do. Social media ads mostly work as interruption ads, which suit products and shopping better than services. And in our experience email marketing has a very low success rate for businesses that need a steady flow of new customers.

How soon will I see results?

Ads can start showing the day they go live, so visits can begin quickly. Steady inquiries take longer, because the first weeks are spent learning which searches and messages work. We won't promise a number of leads up front.

Do I need a new website to run ads?

Not always. We'll look at the pages your ads would send people to. If they're slow or unclear, we may suggest a focused landing page, or a redesign if the whole site is holding you back.

How is digital marketing priced?

Management is a fixed quote, given after a free consultation, with no hidden fees. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to the platform.
