Built slowly. Built well.

We are a small custom home builder. We take on a few homes at a time so each one gets our full attention.

Philosophy

A good home starts long before the first footing. It starts with listening, with walking the land and with a plan everyone understands. Then we build it the way we would build our own.

Craftsmanship

The details are the job.

Chisel shaping a pale timber block

Craft you can see

Square corners, tight joints, clean lines. We care about the details you notice and the ones hidden in the walls.

Architectural drawings and drafting tools

Plans you can trust

We do the hard thinking before we break ground, so the build follows a plan you have already seen and approved.

Sites we are proud of

Organised, swept and safe. A tidy site is a sign of how the rest of the work is being done.

Owen Pryor

Owner and Builder

Owen started Lintel & Field to build homes the way they should be built: carefully, honestly and with the owners part of every step.

You will meet Owen at your first meeting, and you will see him on site all the way through your build. He would rather walk the job with you than send another email.

How we work

Four things we never skip.

We build across Greenville and the Upstate, from the city to the foothills and the lakes. Not sure we cover your area? Just ask.

Listen first

We ask a lot of questions before we draw a single line.

Numbers early

You see real costs at the planning stage, not after the walls are up.

Build it right

Proper methods, good materials and trades we know and trust.

Leave it better

A clean site, a careful handover and a number you can always call.

Start a project

Let’s build
your home.

Tell us about your land, your family and the way you want to live. We will take it from there, one clear step at a time.
