Heavy storm clouds over a house on a dark field

Storm damage repair.

Hail, wind and fallen limbs. We find the damage, photograph it, stop the leaks and help you with the insurance side. The storm inspection is free.

Signs you need it

What storm damage
looks like.

Some of it you can spot from the driveway. Most of it you cannot. If you see any of these, have the roof checked.

Dents and dark spots

Hail leaves round bruises where granules were knocked off the shingle.

Shingles in the yard

Wind lifts tabs and tears them loose, leaving the roof open.

Dented gutters and vents

Dings on metal are an easy way to spot hail size from the ground.

New stains or drips

Water inside after a storm means it found a way past the roof.

Limbs on the roof

Even a small branch can crack shingles or puncture the decking.

Lifted or creased tabs

A creased shingle has lost its seal and will leak in the next big rain.

FAQ

Storm questions,
answered.

What homeowners ask us most in the days after a storm.

Still have a question?

Should I call my insurance company first?

You can call either of us first. Many homeowners have the roof inspected before filing, so they know whether the damage is worth a claim. Your policy and your insurance company have the final say.

Is the storm inspection really free?

Yes. We come out, get on the roof and show you what we find. No cost and no obligation to hire us.

How soon should I get my roof checked?

As soon as it is safe after the storm. Hail bruises and lifted shingles can leak weeks later. Many policies also have time limits for filing, so check yours.

Can you just repair it, or do I need a new roof?

It depends on how much damage there is and the age of the roof. If a repair will do, we will tell you. You see the photos either way.

Will you deal with my adjuster for me?

We can meet your adjuster on the roof and show them everything we documented. Decisions about your claim are between you and your insurance company.
