An easy chair
on Main Street.

Leather chairs, tile floors, good light and a radio turned down low. A place you come back to every few weeks for years.

The space

One long room, good light.

Brick walls, walnut counters and big front windows that let the afternoon in. Every chair has its own mirror, its own tools and enough room to breathe.

There is a bench by the door for walk-ins and a coat rack that actually holds coats.

How a visit goes

From the door to the mirror.

  • Arrive

Check in at the counter. There is coffee, a few good magazines and a bench by the window.

  • Talk it through

Your barber asks how you wear it, what bugs you about it and how long you want it to last.

  • The cut

Clippers for the sides, shears for the top, and a mirror check before anything comes off that cannot go back.

  • Hot towel

A warm towel, every visit. It is the part people tell their friends about.

  • Finish

Neck shave, a little product if you want it, and a look at the back. Pay, tip if you like, and that is it.

What we care about

House rules, more or less.

  • Take the time.

A good cut cannot be rushed. We book enough time for every chair, and we keep to it.

  • Talk, or don’t.

Some people come in for the conversation. Some come in for forty-five quiet minutes. We can tell.

  • Clean, every time.

Tools cleaned between every client, fresh towels, fresh blades. No exceptions.

  • Everyone sits in the same chair.

All hair types, all ages, everybody welcome. Same care, same price, same hot towel.

Come see the place.
